Michael Durso, senior pastor of Christ Tabernacle now, Saints Church, in Glendale, New York, was formerly a partner in his family’s culinary business.  In 1985, he and his wife Maria were chosen to lead a small church in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Since the inception of the work, the church has grown and lives have been miraculously transformed.  What began with a handful of faithful people, grew, and when their building could no longer meet their growing needs, they moved to a larger facility in 1996 in the area of Glendale, Queens.

With a foundational emphasis on prayer and intercession, Michael Durso, along with his wife Maria firmly believe that lives are dramatically changed and growth occurs when prayer is combined with excellence in ministry.

The Durso’s have 3 sons, all in full time ministry and 8 incredible grandchildren.
