Our Five-year-old classroom offers a true “gift of time.” This uniquely designed class is available to the child who may meet the age requirement for Kindergarten, but may not be ready academically or socially ready to meet the demanding pace or rigor of today’s kindergarten programs. This class of future leaders introduces pre-reading skills such as beginning and ending sounds, sound blending, high frequency sight words and much more. Fine motor skills are strengthened and correct letter formation is stressed. The curriculum continues practicing and advancing math skills. It also introduces science to the young learner. The class offers a flexible, fun center-based day filled with learning and promotes a love of God!
